Wealth Virtues Author James Ward Featured on “The Balancing Act” on Lifetime Television
by BiblioScribe
New Year’s Resolutions can be tough to keep, especially ones related to your finances. The Balancing Act host Danielle Knox talks with Wealth Virtues author James Ward about how the virtues of Ben Franklin applied to the practice of the Cycle of Positive Wealth can create realistic wealth and a comfortable retirement income for anyone at any age and income level.
James Ward talks with Balancing Act host, Danielle Knox about how he was inspired, not only by the wisdom of Dr. Benjamin Franklin, but by the foresight and common sense of Ward’s wife, Linda, to whom the book is dedicated. “Our goal for our three daughters,” Ward tells Knox, “is to have them learn the values required to save, invest, and manage their finances to live their lives with happiness and independence. In turn, our retirement savings will be strong enough so as my wife and I will never be a financial burden to them.”
James Ward, who is also the proprietor of Poor Richard Web Press, describes how, For many people, ‘wealth’ is perceived as the amount of money required for one to live like a king. In his book Wealth Virtues, he redefines wealth as simply the goal of ‘acquiring more money than you spend, and to save more money than you owe.’
Wealth Virtues outlines the practice of Dr. Franklin’s virtues of Temperance, Silence, Order, Resolution, Frugality, Industry, Sincerity, Justice, Moderation, Cleanliness, Tranquility, Chastity, and Humility as they apply to achieving wealth. The premise in which we begin to view wealth is simply the ability to acquire more money than you spend, and to save more than you owe. Wealth Virtues is a book that will help you to define and achieve your own wealth regardless of your current age or income level.
